Dear Students, It’s hard to believe that Bruriah actually outdid itself this past Sunday at our annual Mother Daughter Brunch. As I watched the musical presentation of “Diaries of Faith and Courage” I kept thinking to myself how proud I am to be associated with such an outstanding and talented group of girls. The energy that filled the room was palatable as the choir sang its heartfelt songs and the graceful dancers filled the stage. The dramatic words of the narrators and the perfectly delivered lines of the girls in the skits added to the incredible mood. But in any performance it is not only those on stage that deserve kudos for their work but also those behind the scenes. The scenery, centerpieces, props, costumes, video, slideshow, the list goes on and on, were the products of hours of work by more of our terrific Bruriah girls. And let’s not forget our great audience of girls who happily reveled in the accomplishments of their friends. Congratulations Bruriah for a job well done! Special thanks to our untiring staff who helped make the day happen: Mrs. Newman, Rabbi Oratz, Aliza Stareshefsky, Madame Captan, Mrs. Peikes, Mrs. Azizollahoff, Mrs. Riesel, Mrs. Krupka, and Rabbi Hagler. The countdown now begins towards midterms and mid-year break. Good luck! Mrs. Stern |
