As the ballroom began to fill, and the need for more and more chairs became apparent, it was clear that Bruriah’s Open House would once again be a tremendous success. Baruch Hashem, we had over 300 people come and spend their Sunday morning together with us to find out all about our fabulous school. From the moment our principals, Rabbi Oratz and Mrs. Stern, opened the program to the closing tour - the excitement of the potential students was palpable. Both prospective parents and students had the opportunity to hear from our incredible faculty and current students alike. Those who attended walked away with the comfort of knowing that Bruriah is an institution for academic excellence as well as a place where students are able to grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually. The warmth of the teachers and students manifested itself in the round-robin workshops and made all feel at home.

Speaking of home, much learning and special programs have been taking place as we enter our longest stretch of consecutive learning days. From the breakout of the special program being run by the English department to the American-Israel Student Awareness Committee’s Snack with AISAC, things are back in full swing.  Adding to the students’ excitement has been the beginning of the sport’s season. To date, our Basketball teams are undefeated. Stay tuned and follow our updates in the Soundbytes weekly sports articles.
