Admissions Process

Congratulations!  You are here, and have already taken the first step.

Our philosophy is to offer admissions to students who desire both academic and spiritual growth and who can handle our academic program. We evaluate applicants holistically, based upon their middle school transcripts, written recommendations and interviews.
Our primary public admissions event is our annual Open House, which provides an overview of our school, an opportunity to meet the administrators, faculty, alumni, current students and their parents, and to take a look at our well appointed premises. This year's Open House will take place on Sunday morning, November 5, 2017.
Following our Open House, you will have the opportunity to attend parlor meetings held in individual communities.  This will give you a chance to meet face to face with current parents and have a more in-depth discussion about the school in a more informal setting. Our Parlor Meeting schedule is posted here.
Student interviews are part of the application process. We will contact you once we have received your daughter's application for admission, transcripts and respective recommendation forms. The interview is an opportunity for both sides to see whether the Bruriah curriculum would be a fit for your daughter as her ability to succeed and thrive is our primary concern.
Parents who would like their daughter to visit Bruriah on a regular school day should please call Mrs. Aliza Blumenthal at 908 355 4850 x6281 or email her at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Acceptance letters will be mailed out as per Jewish Education Project (formerly BJE) guidelines.
We look forward to meeting you in person one day soon and thank you for your interest in Bruriah.
